At Villa Aranjaya guests have the opportunity to get closer to the farm-philosophy by experiencing its daily activities. Join us, as we press olives, prune roses, harvest citrus fruits or pick fresh tomatoes off the vine; all educational and fun ways to experience sicilian tradition. Rudolf, the owner of the Estate, is happy to "open doors" into the most wonderful private historic palaces of Sicily for very exclusive "drinks" or an elegant private dinner-parties. On special occasions and on request we can also put an extra staff-member on site fulltime to cater to the needs of our quests, available by phone and in person, from the day of arrival to the day you check out.

On arrival you will be met by one of our staff at Catania International Airport "Vincenzo Bellini", who will accompany you to the car-rental company and then guide you safely home.

This price includes all taxes, one airport welcome, car parking, housekeeping staff - 1 cook, 1 butler, 2 maids, 1 pool boy - for 7 hours per day, cooking 3 times a day, daily cleaning, linen change once a week, bath and pool towels change twice a week, Wi-Fi, Pool, tennis court and sauna use. Food and beverages are not included.

Overview

Villa Aranjaya has 8 bedrooms of which 4 double bedrooms - including a suite with a large sofa bed - and 4 twin
bedrooms - transformable in double bedrooms on request - and is suitable for 16-20 guests plus some babies.

The Old Boat House has 2 bedrooms and 1 convertible living-room, 3 bathrooms and 1 very large covered
terrace and is suitable for 4-6 guests + some camp-beds - 4 - for children.

Usually we rent the entire and fully staffed Villa, with its Main House, the Orangery and the entire park, pool,
sauna and tennis court ecc for one week minimum and exclusively to one client or group at the time to
guarantee maximum privacy, exclusivity and relaxing holiday.

All rooms have ensuite bathrooms; air conditioning - heating and cooling and ceiling fans.

There are two TV-sets - Sky-TV, Sat-TV - DVD and one CD player with a good choice of music and films, Wi-Fi, I-pod dock, table tennis, table soccer, badminton, games, electric piano-forte and books. Furthermore there is a home cinema in high definition and a Finnish Sauna.

Further amenities: washing machine, extra kitchen in the main house, 4 baby cots and 3 high chairs, 2 baby-
monitors - only audio -, hairdryers in all rooms, microwave, barbecue and a wood oven for bread-and-pizza-
cooking.

The Manor House

There are eight exclusive guest rooms in the Manor House. Four are on the upper garden level and the remainder rest at ground garden level. All are furnished with exstraordinary antiques and vintage crafts and provide private balconies or direct access to the gardens surrounding the villa.

The Orangerie

The spacious and comfortable seating area is a perfect place for conversation, reading or simply enjoying the scenery visible through the large windows. Adjacent is the dining-room where guests can enjoy intimate meals, or as many as 60 people can be accommodated comfortably for special occasions. Charmingly detailed with Biendermaier antiques, walls hung with family-portraits, a beautiful collection of old parrot-prints and Sicilian porcelain; meals are always a memorable occasion in the Orangerie.

Discover Our Underground

During prehistoric times the Siculi and Sicani tribes carved caves into limestone on San Giorgio and inhabited the land for thousands of years. The caves, still visible today, attest to the sprawling landscape's archeological significance. Villa Aranjaya, is only one part of the panorama. Discovered and developed by the present owners' ancestors since 1400, today San Giorgio is a thriving citrus orchard that was converted to organic production in 2009. In 2003 it was recognized as a Natural and Cultural Heritage site by the European Organization for Landowners. Welcoming you at Villa Aranjaya are its noble European hosts; agricultural experts who are pleased to introduce you to the wonders of this enchanting place brought to light by their ancestors centuries ago, and today meticulously converted with polished–terracotta floors, soaring ceilings and gallery-quality (midcentury) antique furnishings, set within it's own private parkland, verdant with a precious palm-tree collection from all over the subtropical world, and alive with bird song.
