Luxurious Villa in Cannero Riviera

Villa Orsi was built in 1905 and stands on a plot of 3'400 m2, consisting of a typical Italian garden, a park with old trees and a large pool. It is located at the marina of Cannero Riviera, directly on Lake Maggiore. The villa with its almost four meters high rooms has been carefully renovated in style and is equipped with all modern amenities. Despite the renovation, the atmosphere of the past era has been preserved. Old frescoes have been uncovered and the rooms have been freed from the countless stylistic breaks of the 60s and 70s.

The villa can comfortably accommodate 10 people in 4 double and 2 single rooms, 4 bathrooms and a guest toilet on the first floor. A large terrace at the back of the house invites you to linger and the "portico" below with a large dining table guarantees a cool dining place even on hot days.

The house is furnished with modern furniture and materials - Baxter, Cattelan, Twils & Gervasoni, etc. - as well as some restored original furniture, and has a modern kitchen with the latest appliances. Crib and high chair for a small child are available on request.

Terrace, bathroom with shower/WC, bedroom Emilia , bedroom Salvatore - both bedrooms have their own entrance to the same bathroom with shower/WC, suite Ambra, hallway

Two bathrooms, each with shower and WC, bedroom Angelo, bedroom Lucilia, suite Arlecchino - the three bedrooms all have access to the two bathrooms through the corridor

In the villa

Upon arrival, a gift basket with a selection of delicacies and a few bottles of wine awaits you to help get your vacation off to a great start.

The wine fridge is located in the basement, which is easily accessible via a staircase inside the villa. In it you will find a selection of white and red wines as well as Prosecco from Valdobbiadene for separate purchase.

The kitchen is equipped with everything it takes to whip up a great meal. Plates, glasses and cutlery for up to 10 people as well as stylish melamine tableware for dining at the wooden table or drinks by the pool.

For rainy days or game enthusiasts, chess, backgammon and Scrabble as well as games for children are ready on the sideboard in the winter garden.


Towels of various sizes and a bathrobe, as well as pool towels, are provided in your room upon arrival. For stays longer than a week, towels are changed on Saturday.

In each bathroom you will find hand soap, hair dryer as well as hygiene bags and toilet paper.

For your own laundry, you can use the laundry room in the basement with detergents provided.


Each room has enough space to hang clothes as well as store other personal belongings. The whole villa has been furnished with great attention to detail, so you will feel right at home.

With great effort and passion Villa Orsi has been carefully renovated in style. Countless hours were spent scraping old paint from the ceilings and uncovering cleverly composed ornaments and frescoes from 1905.

The family coat of arms, consisting of a golden bear on a blue background surrounded by 12 golden chambers, was carefully incorporated into the existing ornaments under the roof. The history of the Orsi family can be traced back to 1217.


On cooler days, the bioethanol fireplace provides a pleasant atmosphere and warms up the living room.

A large Sony flat screen TV offers a variety of TV channels and is connected to AppleTV. Log in with your own iTunes account or bring iTunes vouchers from your country to watch the latest movies. A Netflix account is available for your convenience.

Easily connect your device to the Geneva Sound System via Bluetooth or listen to DAB+ and FM radio as well as CD through it.

The beautiful Baecker piano from the founding period has been carefully restored and tuned and is waiting to be played.


Around the Villa

Next to the villa, right by the portico, there is a Napoleon grill for professional preparation of meat, fish or vegetables.

The grill is directly connected to the gas line and the controls glow in the dark. A meat thermometer can be found in the kitchen.

Pétanque or boccia, badminton rackets with real shuttles, a noble croquet set made of wood from New Zealand, kubb or frisbee - you will certainly not be bored at Villa Orsi.

All games are located in the Dispensa next to the Portico.

Right next to the villa is the Hapimag Watersport Center, where you can rent pedalo, kayak or stand-up paddle to explore Lake Maggiore.

Within the villa's large grounds you will of course enjoy the private pool, park with mature trees and seating areas. On the property there is also open parking for cars.
