Villa Paradiso is a magnificent historical villa set among acres of olive groves and a secluded peaceful valley of the green Umbrian hills. It is part of an agricultural estate in Valle della Spina, a hamlet which extends over 1200 hectares. The villa was owned by the Pianciani family one of the most important families in Umbria in the late 16th century. It has undergone beautiful restorations and recently by its present owners while maintaining its historical grandeur.
The interiors of the villa are filled with exquisite furnishings, classical Umbrian artworks, the ceilings and halls have their original beautiful frescoes of natural hues and large windows opening onto a striking unforgettable landscape. It is also complete with state-of-the-art appliances for that added comfort. Suitable for 14 people with its 7 bedrooms, four of the double bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms while on the second floor two bathrooms are shared between three bedrooms. Amenities in the villa includes a ballroom, library, billiard room, private chapel. There is a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals, or you can hire the services of an onsite chef using the estate's own fresh produce. Continental breakfast is inclusive 7 days a week.
Outside is the pool with sunbeds, a courtyard and several seating areas where you can relax or dine Al fresco. Take a stroll among the estate's 25,000 olive trees some of which dates as far as the 18th century. The production of olive oil is one of the estate’s strong points with harvesting, from October to March. The rugged hills and mountains surrounding the villa are a home to several species of wildlife. You may catch a glimpse of a roe deer, wild cats and birds of prey nearby. The geographic area has been declared a Site of Community Importance (SIC) by the EU thanks to its exceptional wildlife and environmental variety and conservation.
While on your holiday, you may try wine tasting or cooking lessons. Villa Paradiso is also ideally positioned for visiting local places of interest. Top towns like Spoleto, Assisi, Bevagna, Todi, Bevagna and Montefalco for their architecture and art. Important cities like Rome and Florence can be reached just as easy.
